Absolutely delicious! We ordered the dry pot cauliflower and the douban fish, two of the more authentic dishes on the menu. The service was incredible and attentive, the food was delicious (especially the cauliflower wow), and the portion sizes were respectable. Great atmosphere too. I would love to come back and sample more of their dishes.
Very good, authentic Chinese food with many Sichuan (spicy) options. Had lunch with spicy dumplings - see photo - rarely found on menu in US. It‘s a little pricey if you‘re dining solo (eg. hot tea 5), but would not be if sharing because the portions are large. Great location right behind Tanger Mall (3-minute walk, no need to move your parking spot). They have a section with big round tables for large parties.
My sister and I just ate at Old Li’s for their grand re-opening, and it was such a lovely experience! They moved from West Ashley to North Charleston, and their new space is absolutely beautiful. I love that they’ve added more to the menu. There are so many delicious options, and everything is just as amazing as I remember. The atmosphere feels so warm and inviting, and everyone there is genuinely kind and welcoming. You can tell they really care about their customers. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out. It’s such a special place!
Best dumplings ever, the green beans were phenomenal, chili oil fish dish-I wanted to drink every bit of the broth. Huge portions and so inexpensive. Now serving beer!
I ordered through Uber Eats! Looks great and actually delicious. The most authentic Chinese restaurant I could find in Charleston SC. The packaging was excellent and vibrant in color! I asked for a bowl of rice, and it was in the package. 5 星好評. 北京烤鴨
Was on the way back towards Columbia, and decided to get dinner and try some new dishes to add to our Chinese cuisine experience. I tried the spicy beef, and my partner tried the braised pork belly. We also tried (not pictured) chicken egg rolls and steamed dumplings. They are all phenomenal. I didn’t try the hot and sour fish but that was at the table next to us and looked and smelled absolutely amazing too. The atmosphere is friendly, the music is authentic, and cultural. Most of the people who came in also spoke mandarin as well as the bilingual staff. They made sure we had everything we needed and one of our servers helped us both pick out our main dishes :)! It was amazing! We will definitely try again and I will be even more brave next time to try something like the frog or the hot and sour fish.
Just finished eating there with my mom and this place was very good! I think it’s authentic Chinese, because the flavors were amazing. Not salty at all and felt great afterwards. The place is so cute as well! Staff were so so nice.
Everything was amazing and fresh! The service was great and friendly and the cuisine was beyond compare. My family enjoyed our dinner and we will definitely be back with friends. My children enjoyed the family style dining and I wish more restaurants did this! With a large family the spinning table worked wonders! You must try the duck! My 5 year old is a dumpling fanatic and he could not stop talking about the dumplings!
